Ortrand (January 27, 2023). PTO Polymer-Technik Ortrand GmbH (PTO) is entering the year 2023 with new personnel and new energy.
Elastomer- or rubber-coated fabrics are absolutely indispensable in many areas of application. Coated fabrics are used wherever textiles are exposed to special physical or chemical stresses. These fabrics include soft tops for elegant cabriolets, durable tarpaulins for tents, chemical-resistant membrane materials or folding bellows fabrics for the machine tool industry or for passageway systems for buses, trains and aircraft.
Special formulations, sophisticated manufacturing processes and – first and foremost – the know-how and expertise of our employees developed over decades provide the optimal conditions for perfectly fitting system solutions in a wide range of industries. In discussions at the customer’s premises, our experts determine which of our products best meet his requirements. In the event that a suitable product does not yet exist in our product range, steps are taken for its successful development.
Whether impregnation or spread coating, whether calendering or vulcanising – the three large halls of the PTO machine park, covering over 8,000 m², meet the most diverse requirements. This machine park enables us to react flexibly to customer requests and produce top-quality products.
The PTO management system has been certified since 2003, and currently in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
